This past weekend, the Jasmine community came together in an inspiring display of teamwork and dedication to clear the snow-packed parking lot. The results were nothing short of remarkable. We extend our deepest gratitude to the parents who participated in Saturday’s snow-shoveling efforts.
A group of more than ten family members and community volunteers tackled the daunting task of clearing over a foot of snow from the entire parking lot. In just two hours, before the sun set, their efforts restored the parking lot’s functionality, allowing it to be used that same evening. Their hard work, combined with above-freezing temperatures, ensured that by Sunday morning, the last remnants of snow had melted away.
Special recognition goes to Brian, the father of Abby and Belle from the middle class, who joined the effort despite a back injury. Not only did he participate, but he also brought a 50-pound snow blower to make the task more efficient. The event also saw younger members of the Jasmine community stepping up to help. Mia’s older brother, along with Kris and Tina’s brother from the middle class, joined the shoveling crew. These young gentlemen demonstrated remarkable initiative and responsibility, setting a wonderful example for their peers.
On behalf of the Jasmine Council, we wish to express our highest respect and heartfelt appreciation to all the volunteers. Their efforts exemplified the Jasmine team’s enduring spirit of serving the community. In this unique snow-filled moment, they brought the Jasmine family closer together and made it shine brighter than ever.
At the start of the new year, let us carry forward the spirit of collaboration and community service demonstrated this weekend. Together, we make Jasmine not just a team, but a family dedicated to making a difference.
