Recently, on October 10th, Jasmine's dance members had the opportunity to take part in Comanche Elementary School's Family Heritage Night, an event that celebrated cultures from across the globe.

Jasmine performed a total of three dances, each showcasing a different aspect of the broad variety of traditional Chinese dance. The first dance, Drunken Spring Breeze was a solo performance by Cindy Jiang, Jasmine's Youth Director and host for the evening.

Drunken Spring Breeze was quickly followed by Jiu Er, performed by Daphne Valenta and Alice Chen, and Dancing Peacock, performed by Katie Chen. All dance performances were met with a warm reception from the audience.

Comanche Elementary School was an amazing venue to perform at. We were not only able to showcase the variety of traditional Chinese dance but are also super grateful to have been invited to perform and loved the welcoming atmosphere!
